Philadelphia, PA - Walk4Hearing is the only nationwide event bringing attention to hearing loss and promoting the importance of hearing health. Funds raised support HLAA’s national awareness and education programs, HLAA Chapters and State Organizations, and alliances that help extend HLAA’s mission into local communities. Since 2006, the Walk4Hearing has raised $17.5 million to fund programs from more than 2,000 alliance organizations. We’ve welcomed 110,000 people at 304 Walks with participation from over 800 HLAA Chapter and State Organizations.
Cole Canning used to live life to the fullest in his crazy toddler world. Cole is now only 5 years old and can barely walk or eat on his own as he is trying to battle a rare disease called Mitchell’s Syndrome. Cole is only 1 of 16 people to be diagnosed with this disease, and it most recently took a turn for the worst. This family will do anything for anyone except ask for help, and they need your support more than ever.
