Creekside Raceway is a family-oriented organization that has been dedicated to children interested in racing since 2022. Creekside Raceway is a non-profit organization that involves families from all over PA, DE, NJ, NY, and CT.
Quarter Midget Racing is undoubtedly one of the “best-kept secrets” a family or motorsports enthusiast could come across. Creekside Raceway is part of the Quarter Midgets of America (QMA) organization. Information about QMA can be found here: Motorsports Safe Race Cars – Quarter Midgets of America.
The cars, called a “Quarter Midget,” follow the rules and safety procedures that are designed specifically for kids. Creekside Raceway is an oval asphalt track. Children ages 5-16 can participate in these significant family motorsports events. Quarter Midget Racing has fewer injuries than little-league football. Safety features include full roll cages, multi-point seat harnesses, full-face helmets, and other gear. The Quarter Midget Association is continually reviewing and evaluating safety rules to ensure that Quarter Midget Racing remains a safe, yet competitive sport. The racing environment is about children and family — not only do the kids learn valuable skills and sportsmanship, but they also make new friends — friends they may keep their entire lives.
Many of our children have grown up in a family of racers, while others are just getting started. Creekside Raceway helps our children understand the rules and regulations for competitive racing, all while ensuring they compete with the highest level of safety. Not only do kids learn valuable skills and sportsmanship, but also teamwork. Our Quarter Midget track is open to the public and always free. As a 501c3 non-profit organization, we rely on community support. The children race from April to November, with our largest event being held annually in November “The Turkey Gobbler”. Attendees will participate in a 3-day race program, from November 29 to December 1, 2024.
We are seeking monetary donations to build a Score Tower and obtain Bleachers. These track improvements are vital in the race day program. Your donation will help the club achieve this goal. A Go-Fund Me has been created to assist in the fundraising efforts. The link to that Go-Fund Me can be found here: gofund.me.
