Join Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence as Philadelphia Eagles Players Trade Football For Fashion

On Monday, November 13, 2023, fashion will once again meet football for the Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence (BBBS Independence) Fashion Touchdown. After taking a three-year hiatus, Philadelphia Eagles players and their partners will strut the runway in outfits presented by Boyds in support of the BBBS Independence mission to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. This year’s event, presented by Marrone Law Firm, will take place at 2300 Arena (2300 S Swanson St, Philadelphia, PA 19148) from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The players who will be in attendance are Boston Scott, D’Andre Swift, Darius Slay, James Bradberry, Jordan Mailata, Joshua Jobe (former BBBS Little), Haason Reddick, and alumni Brian Westbrook, Mike Mamula, and Vinny Curry (former BBBS Big). Participation of all current and alumni players is subject to availability. The auctioneer for the live auction will be former Eagles player Kevin Reilly. BBBS Independence will also be honoring Domenico DiSandro at the event. Dom enters his 25th season with the Philadelphia Eagles, serving as the senior advisor to the General Manager and Chief Security Officer.
NBCU Philadelphia is the official Media Partner for Fashion Touchdown. NBC10 Anchor Jacqueline London, NBC10 and Telemundo62 Bilingual Reporter Miguel Martinez-Valle, and NBC Sports Philadelphia Sports Anchor Amy Fadool will be hosting different aspects of the event. NBC10’s Philly Live host, Aunyea Lachelle will be conducting interviews as the Red Carpet Host.
Boyds is the official Fashion Partner and will be dressing the Philadelphia Eagles and their partners. Aiming to enhance modern relevance while keeping traditions alive, Boyds offers a diverse assortment of luxury women’s and men’s ready-to-wear and accessories.
Guests can expect an exciting night of football, fashion, and fundraising.
