The family of Philadelphia SWAT Corporal James O’Connor IV has set up a memorial fund in his honor.
Philadelphia Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #5 President, John McNesby told 6ABC, “the outpouring of support for James O’Connor IV, his family and Philadelphia Police Department has been overwhelming.” Cpl. O’Connor served 23 years with the PPD, 15 of those in SWAT. He leaves behind a wife and two children; a son who is also a Philadelphia police officer and a daughter who is an active duty Air Force member.
Due to the current state of affairs, funeral arrangements have been postponed indefinitely, but anyone wishing to donate may do so in any of the following ways:
