Lorelai’s Locker: Preemie Clothing Drive

A message from Loralai’s mom: Last year our daughter was born on November 17th at 32 weeks, and she spent the first 17 days of her life in the NICU at Virtua Voorhees. During that time we received some comfort items to help us along the process and reminded us that others have been in our shoes.
One item most people don’t think about are PREEMIE sized clothes. No one gifts you Preemie clothes at a baby shower, its a taboo subject. We had 48 hour notice our daughter was coming home. We had to run out to a store to search racks to find an outfit in a PREEMIE size to bring her home in. One year later our daughter is thriving beyond our wildest dreams.
November 17th is National Prematurity Awareness Day and to support those who are standing where we stood a year ago, we are making it our mission to collect Preemie sized clothing to fill a locker at the Virtua Voorhees NICU.
We will be delivering the Locker Filled with Preemie clothes on Thursday November 17th 2022 to show full circle just how STRONG PREEMIE FAMILIES ARE!
Please help by donating a NEW- PREEMIE sized outfit to ensure EVERY baby gets their own outfit/pajama while in the NICU. Every outfit counts and it will mean the world to a new parent in the NICU.
