Brief Description of Event:
The American Red Cross is experiencing a national blood shortage. Back-to-school season, summer travel and an already active hurricane season have hindered blood donations, resulting in a shortfall of about 30,000 blood donations in August alone.
As our friend, Sean Mitchell, continues to fight Leukemia, we are partnering with the Red Cross to host a blood drive on Thursday, September 28th at the Ancient Order of Hibernians in Bristol Borough from 9 am – 7 pm.
September is Leukemia awareness month and part of treatment typically includes blood transfusions. There is a critical need for donations in order to help Sean and many others with similar diagnoses. Sign-Up today at THIS LINK.
