Summary:
We are rallying to make sure all teachers and people know that Linden Hill and Red Clay School District are trying to cut the Chinese Immersion program at the school. We were given no warning or hint that the program was in danger.
The only justification given was lack of interest/numbers, but the school does absolutely nothing to promote or recruit for the program at all. We, the parents of current/incoming immersion students were made a promise and sold on a beautiful and culturally rich Immersion program that our kids love and are excited about!
After all the loss and sacrifices over the last year, we can’t let them take this away from our kids.
