11 year old boy burns 90 percent of his body
Tragedy fell on the Jastrzembski family when Scott and Kathleen’s youngest son, Ryan, was badly burned in an accident during a bonfire. Young Ryan, only 11 years old, suffered burns over 90% of his body. Needless to say he has a long, extremely tough road ahead to recovery. UPDATE (1/27) Ryan’s injuries are rare and extensive. He has made it through the crucial first 48 hours and his team of doctors are hopeful regarding his survival. Due to the large percentage of his body that was burned, the plan is now to fly him by medical jet to Galveston, Texas where a team of pediatric burn specialist can better assist with his recovery. The initial goal was met (Thank you!), and has been increased based on the latest revelations and associated costs.
