Brent PorchePreston and Steve’s Camp Out for Hunger 2023 is officially underway inside the Wells Fargo Center complex as we continue to help our neighbors in need and collect nonperishable food for Philabunance.
We kicked off the week of feel-good-fun yesterday with the 5th annual Phil-a-Trunk Car Show and Food Drive. The event is organized and hosted by the Porsche Club of America: Riesentöter Region and their President Mr. Jeff Walton. This year’s event was also in conjunction with Mainline Cars and Coffee.
THOUSANDS of cars and trunks of all shapes and sizes descended upon the sports complex in South Philadelphia for what must be the biggest Phil-a-Trunk Car Show and Food Drive EVER! The event attracted so many cars and spectators that we ran out of space to put everyone!
Phil-a-Trunk
One of the many cool, added extras at the Phil-a-Trunk event is the Autocross! At $10 per lap, racing enthusiasts can take their own vehicle though the coned-off course inside the Wells Fargo Center parking lot. Every last dollar goes to Preston and Steve’s Camp Out for Hunger and Philabundance.
Pierre Robert and I stopped by the Phil-a-Trunk Car Show & Food Drive to partake in the fun and help kick-off the festivities for what is sure to be a memorable Camp Out for Hunger week in South Philadelphia.
The Preston & Steve Show, Pierre Robert, and I will be broadcasting out shows LIVE from the Bimbo Bakeries USA Broadcast Tent all week. There will be special guests stopping by and tons of activities all throughout the day and week that you can participate in. Including a bunch of events taking place during Camp Out After Dark, starting with the Food Trucks, Fireworks and Drones show TONIGHT, which runs from 5-8pm. All the Camp Out for Hunger events are free to attend with your donation to Philabundance. Preston and Steve’s Camp Out for Hunger runs through this Friday, November 18 as we continue to collect nonperishable food for Philabundance, while helping our neighbors in need. We hope you can join us!
