I went and saw The Struts at the Fillmore and had SUCH a blast. Here's a certified BamBam recap of how it went!

We got there a little halfway through the set. They were absolutely stellar. I always love seeing The Struts. They know how to work a stage! I got to debut their new song, "Too Good At Raising Hell," at the end of June. They performed the killer new track in Philly.

Then, we found out the name of the new album as it was announced from the stage. It's called Pretty Vicious and comes out in November. Luke Spiller is so excited about it.

After the show, Brittany and I went backstage and met up with everyone that was there. Jim Sutcliffe, WMMR's Ryan, Nick Perri (of Nick Perri and the Underground Thieves), and Pierre Robert were there! It was so great to see Nick, who is our Local Shots Artist of the Month for July. The great Luke Spiller of The Struts came over to hang out with our WMMR gang. He was a total riot as always. It was so amazing to see everyone there.

Afterward, we partied at Barcade. They are the originator of the whole bar and arcade concept, by the way.

The Fillmore is such a great venue. We all had a blast at the show, especially after when we went backstage. The party atmosphere was all over. The Struts at the Fillmore was an AMAZING time!

Had to stop at Jade Harbor in Chinatown to fuel up before our big night. Is this how you use chopsticks? I don't know LOL.

I bet you didn't realize the ice sculpture also doubled as a FUNNEL! Also, I bet you didn't know Pierre would get in on that action. Luke was giving him a run for his money!

This awesome retro bus with a totally psychedelic paint job lives at The Fillmore. Reminds me of Minerva!

Here's a wide shot where you can see the full thing, and lovely Brittany. It says "love" in trippy 60s font. Totally a throwback.
