WMMR Philadelphia and Brent Porche traded the usual studio views for the sun and sand this Memorial Day weekend. As is tradition, we took the show down the shore and broadcasted live from Wildwood, New Jersey, with shenanigans and prizes galore.
WMMR Down the Shore for Memorial Day Weekend
Before that, we had to pregame. The Preston and Steve Show hosted their wild annual party at Keenan’s Irish Pub in North Wildwood, Irish pub in North Wildwood. See the debauchery you may have missed, including an epic beer baptism, on PrestonAndSteve.com. Back at the ranch, Pierre Robert got our vinyl themed weekend started early on the air on his show, spinning as many records as he could on the turntable. Then… the clock on the wall said 3 o’clock…
From 3 to 7 PM last Friday, Brent was live from the Star Beach Bar at the Icona Diamond Beach in Wildwood, giving away concert tickets every half-hour. We had many happy winners that day who are who have added another show to their summer concert calendar. Gigs included: the Rolling Stones, Blink 182, The Struts, Green Day and Smashing Pumpkins, and MMRBQ. More info on all of these shows can be found on MMR’s official Concert Calendar.
