This shot was taken on stage at the 2008 MMRBQ, which was also our 40th Anniversary as a Rock n Roll radio station here in Philadelphia.

Bill Weston, the Man About Town, the Silver Fox, and the Conductor of the ‘MMR Orchestra for the past 20 years, is packing up the saddle bags on his Harley and preparing to ride off into the sunset of retirement.

To not only love your job but also to love your boss is a bit of an anomaly in any profession. Bill Weston has been a consummate leader in every city and radio station he has worked at, and we consider ourselves at WMMR extremely fortunate to have had him at the helm for close to two decades of amazing radio.

It’s not an easy task to corral a staff such as ours at ‘MMR, but Bill did it in epic fashion. Please join us in congratulating Bill on 20 amazing years at the wheel of the ‘MMR bus, guiding us all to some of the absolute best radio and events this station has ever seen in our over 55 years as a rock n’ roll radio station here in Philadelphia.

Bill’s successor as Program Director at WMMR will be the great Chuck Damico. Chuck has been with the station for decades, many of which as ‘MMR’s Assistant Program Director directly under Bill. We are all beyond thrilled for what the future holds with Chuck as the new conductor of the ‘MMR Orchestra!

Massive CONGRATULATIONS to both Bill Weston & Chuck Damico!!

Here are some never-before-seen photos of Bill, Chuck & I – bp
