The 2024 edition of Money in the Bank drew over 20,000 rabid WWE fans to the sold out the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto last week. It was a wild show, and the event broke several records in Canada.

If you thought Philly was loud, our friends to the north give these crowds a run for their money! The vibe was loud and extremely energetic throughout the night. Canadian fans know how to party.

The biggest news of the night came from John Cena, who surprised the entire WWE universe by showing up to announce that he will be retiring from professional wrestling in 2025 – after a farewell tour of matches, culminating in next year’s WrestleMania.

Another big surprise was the appearance of CM Punk, who is still in the process of healing from an injury. Punk cost his foe Drew McIntyre the opportunity of cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase, which he snagged at the top of the ladder earlier in the night. More to come with that feud for sure.
