You don’t want to miss these New Jersey fireworks shows this July 4th holiday. These towns in New Jersey will light up the night sky for Independence Day.

After a day of grilling and drinking some choice beverages, there’s nothing like relaxing under a brightly-colored night sky. Don’t you love that we choose to celebrate our country with tiny colorful explosions? It’s so great to watch kids run around your grassy firework-watching space with their glowsticks and popsicles from the ice cream truck. Just add some live music and possibly yet ANOTHER choice beverage and you’re set.

Don’t miss out on this quintessential summer experience. There are so many places in New Jersey that are setting off fireworks for the 4th of July. Most fireworks shows are completely free events and can be watched from anywhere. It’s a fun activity for the whole family that makes for some good photos and even better memories.

Celebrate the holiday on a variety of dates with these simply spectacular shows. You’re going to want to grab your blankets or chairs, pick a great spot, sit back, and relax. There’s nothing like a night under the stars…and “the rocket’s red glare, the bombs bursting in air.”

  • Wildwoods Boardwalk Fireworks

    U.S. Forces Celebrate July 4th At Baumholder Base

    The Wildwoods Boardwalk has an awesome fireworks show every Friday night at 10 p.m. The fireworks are launched from the beach at Pine Avenue and are synchronized to music that plays over the Wildwoods Boardwalk Sound System! Head up to the Boardwalk early for dinner and drinks, shopping, and rides on the 3 amusement piers.

  • Tropicana's Free Fireworks Series

    37th Annual Macy's 4th Of July Fireworks

    Tropicana Atlantic City lights up the sky every Saturday from June 24 – September 2. They do include Tuesday, July 4 as well. Fireworks are launched from the beachfront and can be viewed along the boardwalk. This is a free show, so don’t miss out!

  • Fireworks at Battleship New Jersey

    It does cost money to hit up this show, but you get bang for your buck. Experience an amazing view of the fireworks over the Delaware River while ON Battleship New Jersey. There’s also live music, face painting for kids, food concessions, bar service and the best view of the fireworks for the forecastle (forward deck) of the Battleship. It’ll only cost you a $10 donation per person. There is parking all around the Battleship on the Waterfront in Camden, so prepare to pay for that, too.

  • Medford, NJ fireworks

    Fireworks Light Up Skies Over New York City On The Fourth Of July

    Medford’s Independence Day Celebration & Fireworks are on July 3rd, 2023 (with a rain date of 7/7) from 6pm to 10pm. The fireworks themselves set off at Dusk. It’s at Freedom Park (86 Union St, Medford) and it’s FREE! They’re also gonna have live music, food, and a kid’s zone. Please consider making a voluntary contribution to the Fireworks Fund to keep the show going.

  • Ocean City, NJ Fourth of July Celebration

    Celebrations Take Place For Guy Fawkes Night

    The Ocean City Fourth of July Celebration starts with a kite flying competition at 7 p.m. It’s followed by entertainment on the beach next to the Music Pier. A spectacular boardwalk fireworks display tops off the evening at 9 p.m. The fireworks will be launched from a barge in the ocean near the Music Pier and will be best viewed from the beach and boardwalk between Fifth Street and 14th Street. A musical simulcast will be broadcast over the boardwalk PA system.

    Fireworks begin at dusk on July 3, 2023. The whole event is from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. The show is viewable from many areeas around the town, but the launch site is behind Woodland School, so don’t go there due to safety regulations! Newton and Woodland Avenues will be closed to all except residents. It’s a free event!

  • Maple Shade 4th Of July Fireworks

    On July 1, 2023 (with a rain date of 7/2), Maple Shade will light up the night sky starting at dusk. The free show can be viewed from many locations around town, but we recommend trying to get a spot in the fields at Maple Shade High School.
