Wendy Lewis, the CEO of The Parkinson's Council of Philadelphia, was our guest as she was in to discuss The Walk to Stamp Out Parkinson's Disease on November 4th in Philadelphia. We also discuss many other areas of Parkinson's Disease. Wendy shares information about the symptoms of Parkinson's Disease. And, we talk about being underdiagnosed and late diagnosis. Wendy also shared how The Parkinson's Council works to be active in underserved communities. This is important because underserved communities have less access to healthcare and other vital programs are important to them.

The Walk to Stamp Out Parkinson's is Saturday, November 4th at The Navy Shipyard. If you are able, please join us for a wonderful cause. Get all of your information, here. It is a great open space to walk and raise money that is all used locally. The monies raised are used to create programs for people with Parkinson's Disease and fund research that is vital to slowing down the progression of Parkinsons. You can make a difference. You can volunteer, sponsor, and/or participate. All the information you need is here. Thank you for Listening,
