Celebrate Golden Sunrise NYA At Their 2024 Banquet
Saturday, February 10, 2024. Celebrate the last Fancy Club in the Mummers organization, Golden Sunrise NYA, at their 2024 Annual Banquet. There are awards for all that placed in the Parade.
The celebration includes raffle baskets, dinner, and dancing. It is all in keeping the Mummer community alive.
Their name reflects their mission. To bring dazzling displays of color, form, and texture to life through presentations of costumes and floats called frame suites that focus on tradition. Golden Sunrise NYA is a fantastic club to be part of. Whether you want to march down Broad Street, or work behind the scenes and help make the magic happen, there are a number of ways to get involved at Golden Sunrise and become a part of the Mummer community.
They present awards at the banquet. I am so honored to get an award for my 1st place winner, Jungle Exotica, I am so excited to be able to celebrate all of the achievements of this amazing club. Mummery is something I am very passionate about. This celebration caps off a beautiful beginning to the year.
The 2024 Mummers Parade was fantastic, and this will be a fun way to re-live it!

Jacky BamBam Presents 1st Place Winner: JUNGLE EXOTICA
Jacky BamBam won first place with “JUNGLE EXOTICA” in The Handsome Costume Category at the 2024 Mummers Parade.
It took us rock and roll Animals on a journey into the uncharted Jungle’s lush visual sceneries while pulsing with environmental vibrations and tropic thunders. The forest labyrinth keeps you entranced in its hypnotizing and rhythmic clutches…Is there no escape as you follow the call of the wild???
I am so proud of Brittany for taking home SECOND PLACE in the Handsome Costume division with Goddess Isis: Reawakened! It was incredible to be able to strut with her for her FIRST TIME! First and second place baby!

The JACKY BAMBAM SHOW is on 93.3 WMMR Weeknights 7p-12a playing the coolest songs ever made with many features for true music lovers. Jacky is a big supporter of The Philadelphia Mummers and is a Seven Time First Prize Award Winning Hall Of Fame Mummer. Before he took over the microphone, he was a drummer who released 2 albums and toured all over the world.
