Philabundance Donation Drive At The Mummer’s Museum

Join Jacky BamBam for a Philabundance donation drive at the Mummer’s Museum on Sunday, February 25th from 1:30-3 PM!

On SUNDAY at 2 PM, please join me at The Mummers Museum and donate a jar of peanut butter for The Annual Philabundance “Spread The Love” Mummers Fundraiser Food Drive. The MUMMER Community will come together to provide peanut butter, a nutritious and much-needed item, for children and families in need.

Philabundance launched its Spread the Love campaign this month. It runs through the end of February. The objectives are to collect food, raise funds, and increase awareness about food insecurity. This is during a traditionally slow time of year; post-holiday giving. The goal is to collect and distribute 40,000 jars of peanut butter and nut butter alternatives in celebration of Philabundance’s 40th Anniversary.

Peanut butter and nut butter alternatives can be super expensive for families to buy. The sweet and salty spread is a delicious, satisfying, and versatile food. It’s packed with protein, calcium, magnesium, and other essential nutrients. It’s a shelf-stable item that all food pantries need. Your donation will allow Philabundance to ensure individuals and families will have a healthy, tasty option on their shelves.

I will be taking photographs with everyone who makes a donation with My First Prize 2024 Golden Sunrise NYA Handsome Costume “Jungle Exotica.” It’s on display in The Winners Circle. I would love to show you around our Mummers Museum!!

Surprise Induction Into The Fancy Division Hall of Fame

I have no words, but I will try to gather some. I was inducted into the Fancy Division Hall of Fame this past weekend. It is such an honor to be recognized in this way.

This was a complete and total surprise to me. At Golden Sunrise NYA’s annual banquet, they presented me with this honor. I am now in the Mummers Hall of Fame class of 2024.

I am so thankful to be in the little club that could, Golden Sunrise NYA. So much has happened in my life and I have met so many people. My career is so amazing. But, a huge dream of mine, if not the biggest, was to be in the Mummers Hall of Fame. Now, that dream is a reality.

Thank you thank you thank you to everyone who has supported me. Thank you for everyone who has helped with my costumes, my transportation, my music. It takes a village. Everyone that has supported me in every avenue of my life, thank you. Your encouragement means the world to me.

This little Mummer’s dream came true, and now I am in the Mummers Fancy Division Hall of Fame, class of 2024. This is so INCREDIBLE!
