Sled Registration is Open for Preston & Steve’s Cardboard Classic at Montage Mountain
Preston & Steve’s Cardboard Classic returns to Montage Mountain on February 28, 2025.
Montage Mountain in Scranton, PA became the home of MMR’s winter sled competition in 2023. It kicks off a big weekend on the mountain known as Mountinfest.
Cardboard Classic invites listeners to make sleds using only four materials: glue, string, paint and cardboard. The sleds are raced down the tubing hill and win prizes based on categories like design, theme and speed.

Following the cardboard chaos stick around as we crank up the volume with The World’s Largest 80’s Party featuring M80’s, a tribute to MTV playing all the radical hits you know and love! It’ll be an afternoon of big hair, bigger vibes, and nonstop fun on the snow.
Mountainfest continues on Saturday, March 1st. The day kicks off with the fan favorite pond skimming competition. Then the concert kicks off with special guests, Tonic, opening the show and headliners, multi-platinum alt-rock icons, The folks at Montage are already planning to make this the biggest and best Mountainfest yet and can’t wait to see you all there.
