The 19th annual I Bleed For Preston & Steve Blood Drive happened at two separate locations on Friday, June 14th.
Hundreds of Staff and Volunteers from the American Red Cross collected donations from 7am – 7pm. The WMMR Team was set up between the two locations as well. The Preston & Steve Show began the day at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks. Pierre Robert took over the broadcast duties over at Live Casino and Hotel Philadelphia. He was joined by Jacky Bam Bam who was checking in from the South Philly location all morning. The final shift was anchored by Brent Porche back at the Oaks location.
Our generous 93.3 WMMR listeners showed up all day long! Nearly one hundred people made their very first donation to the American Red Cross. And there were tons of repeat donors. many of whom showed up in I Bleed For Preston & Steve collectable t-shirts from past years.
This year’s grand total was 1,117 units of blood collected.
