It’s that time of year again!!!  I’m really excited about this year’s Fall activities and events because they are all brand new for me! – Kathy Romano

Watch the big list reveal:

  • Tree Trails Adventure

Tree Trails Adventure is an all-new aerial adventure in Trevose, PA. The tree trail courses range in difficulty from beginner to advanced, with skills and element challenges increasing in height and difficulty as guests progress. In my opinion, this is the most difficult course in our area. The courses all start at a centralized main platform, and after being harnessed and given a safety and training briefing, guests explore the park at their own speed and comfort level of difficulty. Both the adult and kid courses include zip lines, bridges made of cable and rope, and netted tunnels that are suspended between platforms built around trees and poles. There are five different courses open and a kid’s course for children 4-7 years old.

Kathy’s helpful tip: It’s on the same property as The Valley of Fear. If you book the last tree trails session at 2p or 2:30p, you’ll have plenty of time to climb, grab dinner nearby and head back for the haunted attractions that start at 6pm.

  • Hersheypark Halloween

Hersheypark Halloween returns with family fun and those sweet treats that everyone loves. But this year they are adding a new feature to their seasonal event: Dark Nights! This is an immersive haunt experience that spreads its shadow over the park with three unearthing scare zones (included with general admission) and four spine-tingling haunted houses (additional tickets are needed). Don’t worry, there are paths that bypass the scare zone for the younger ghosts and goblins visiting the park. During Dark Nights you can ride five rollercoasters in complete darkness. That’s right, no lights! Children 12 and under can enjoy thirteen sweet stops along Hershey’s Trick-or-Treat Trail. Be sure to try a few of the items on the limited time Hersheypark Halloween food guide.

Kathy’s helpful tip: Get the fast-track pass if you want to experience all of the haunts in one visit.

  • Lincoln Mill Haunted House

Lincoln Mill Haunted House is an all-new attraction hitting Main Street in Manayunk. Hurricane Ida flooded the Lincoln Mill (formerly Mad River Manayunk Bar & Grill) to historic water levels. The flood significantly damaged the interior of the mill. When the water receded, it revealed a hidden chamber in the basement. Local authorities uncovered that, during the Great Depression in the 1930’s, the mill owner was tormenting and experimenting on his workers. Countless workers lost their lives, and their spirits continue to haunt the mill! You’re invited inside to experience the terror that lies along the Schuylkill River in Manayunk. It’s a 15–20-minute walk through attraction that’s geared towards those who are 13 or older. Tickets give you access to the haunted house, food trucks, and two brewery stands. VIP tickets also include skip the line passes and access to the deck which faces the river and has high top tables to enjoy your food and beverages. $1 of every ticket sold is being donated to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
