The Always Sunny Podcast Live! Strutting With Uptown String Band

Jacky BamBam will strut with the Uptown String Band at The Always Sunny Podcast Live! show tomorrow, September 23, 2023, at The Mann.

Me, the Uptown String Band, and The Preston and Steve Show will all be there to welcome the gang back to Philadelphia!

The Always Sunny Podcast is a look back on the past fifteen seasons of the hit show, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Creators and stars Glenn Howerton, Charlie Day, and Rob McElhenney go back to where it all began in 2005. They discuss their (sometimes limited) memories of writing and filming the show. They get a little help from writer Megan Ganz, too. Episode by episode, they re-watch Sunny and reminisce on their nearly twenty-year-long partnership.

Now, they’re bringing all of that to The Mann so Philadelphians can witness it live! I’m so excited to be a part of this event.

Grandparents' Day Folk Festival With 'The Mummers'

Grandparents’ Day is celebrated to show the bond between grandparents and grandchildren. Arbor Terrace in Mt. Laurel celebrated Grandparents on Sunday, September 10, 2023, with The Mummers!

Guests got invited to embark on an exhilarating journey at the Grandparents’ Day Folk Festival. We had captivating music, engaging activity stations, and epic pie-eating contests. Guests could also treat themselves to delectable refreshments and explore our merchant tables for handmade gifts.

It all capped off with a show-stopping performance by the sensational “MUMMERS!” And I happened to be part of that outstanding crew. The always amazing Uptown String Band and I played and strutted to “Fly Eagles Fly” on Eagles Sunday.

We wanted to make the day unforgettable for the residents and guests at Arbor Terrace. It truly was!

I wore my Mummers best. My suit was created by Del Buono Costumes (Al and Yvonne DelBuono). The suit is called “Jester’s Court,” and won first place in 2020.

It was an awesome day. I’m always carrying that inner Mummer with me, but he likes to stretch his legs every once and a while. Did I mention, it’s only just over 100 days until New Year’s Day??

Jacky is a big supporter of The Philadelphia Mummers and is a Seven Time First Prize Award Winning Hall Of Fame Mummer. Before he took over the microphone, he was a drummer who released 2 albums and toured all over the world.
