Save The Date! Preston & Steve Cardboard Classic Returns To Montage Mountain in 2024
Preston & Steve’s Cardboard Classic returns to Montage Mountain on March 1, 2024.
Montage Mountain in Scranton, PA became the new home of MMR’s winter sled competition in 2023 after the event took a brief hiatus. And it kicks off a big weekend on the mountain.
Cardboard Classic invites listeners to make sleds using only glue, string, paint and cardboard. The sleds are raced down the tubing hill and win prizes based on categories like design, theme and speed.
Following the cardboard chaos, Mountainfest begins with a loaded lineup of live music and events. Longtime friends of the show, Collective Soul, will perform Friday night. Then on Saturday, The 502s start the day followed by Mountainfest headliners, O.A.R.
The folks at Montage are already planning to make this the biggest and best Mountainfest yet. Besides the concerts, expect activities like pond skimming and a fireworks show on the mountain.
As always, Cardboard Classic is a free, all ages event. If you would like to stick around for Mountainfest, buying a lift ticket for any day that weekend gets you admission to the concerts. GA tickets are also available.
