Three Weekend Festival Dates Announced For Vans Warped Tour 2025
The Vans Warped Tour is back… we think.
The iconic traveling skate + music tour was a summer staple for 25 straight years. Starting in 1995, the annual summer festival would move town to town, setting up stages and ramps in the parking lots around the country. In 2019, festival producers retired the event with an Ohio show and two epic, weekend long festivals: one on each coast.
All signs pointed to that being the official end of an era, or so we thought. After rumors grew over the summer of 2024, founder Kevin Lyman confirmed that Warped Tour would return to celebrate the 30th anniversary. On September 17th Lyman publicly said “We have something cooking for 2025. Details should be ready in a few weeks.” On October 14th, the tour’s social media pages were wiped.
Last night, the news became real to a small audience of like-minded music lovers. Fans at the When We Were Young – a weekend long festival in Las Vegas which has filled the alt / punk / emo music void since 2022 – were surprised by an official Warped Tour 30th Anniversary advertisement.
Andrew Shaykin shared a photo to the When We Were Young Facebook Group. It shared what looks like official dates for the 2025 shows. June 14 & 15 in Washington DC, July 26 & 27 in Long Beach, CA and November 15 & 16 in Orlando, FL. It also says that pre-sales will begin on October 24th.
That’s all we know for now, but it wouldn’t hurt to start booking those trips now!
