Day 1 of Camp Out For Hunger and we’re already having tons of fun. Quite literally, TONS, as we kicked off the week with multiple multi-ton donations. But, as Philabundance CEO, Loree Jones reminded us, food insecurity is on the rise, so quite literally every donation counts. The bag of food that you bring to Camp Out will help feed a family for a week. That’s why we ask everyone to step in – even Santa! He came out today with one of his elves. We also had newly married couples. Anniversaries and strawberry people!
Highlights of the day include a visit from Philadelphia Eagle Boston Scott and Flyers President Keith Jones. Plus Nick and Casey got Sticky Icky with Ricky and Mickey. What does that mean? Imagine an egg toss on a prate ship 100 feet in the air. The photos below tell the whole story.
