Philly Pops a Star Wars Celebration
Friday, 10/20 – Sunday, 10/22
The Philly Pops helped us wake up some unsuspecting kids for the first day of school (video) now it’s time for the entire ensemble to bring the music of John Williams to the stage. Accompanying the Star Wars score be selections from E.T., Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jaws, and Harry Potter and the Star Wars galaxy of characters.
Brauhaus Schmitz Oktoberfest
Friday, 10/6 – Sunday, 10/8
This weekend long beer festival transforms the 23rd Street Armory into a true Oktoberfest Beer Hall with Beer from world famous Hofbrauhaus, traditional Oktoberfest foods, live music, and more. With four different sessions to choose from, we recommend going Friday night and when you can grab a beir & brezel with Marisa Magnatta and the MM-aRmy.
“On Your Marc” Sneak Preview Tour
Friday, 10/13
Preston and Steve will be at The Troc hosting an interactive sneak preview event showcasing the documentary based on Marc Summer’s one-man play ‘The Life and Slimes of Marc Summers’. This event is going to be a party: music from Uncle Jake and the 18 Wheel Gang and Chico’s Vibe, Q&A with Marc after the film and ‘Double Dare’ style games. Bring a change of clothes if you want to get slimed!
Monster Mash Ball on the Spirit of Philadelphia
Saturday, 10/28 (technically midnight Sunday morning)
MMR’s full time vampire, Jacky Bam Bam, will host this ghoulishly fun Halloween cruise on the Delaware River. Get ready for DJ and dancing, a moonlight buffet menu, unbeatable nighttime views of Philadelphia and of course a costume contest.
Rock Allegiance
Saturday, 10/7
This day long festival of head banging, heart pounding rock has a new home this year, taking over BB&T Pavilion and Wiggins Waterfront Park. 3 stages of non-stop, killer tunes from bands like Rob Zombie, Five Finger Death Punch, Halestorm, Mastadon, Steel Panther, Gojira, In This Moment, Radkey, and many, many more! Look for Brent Porche broadcasting live from the WMMR tent 3 – 7pm.
MMR’s Day Off in the Dirt

This Jaxon’s Jeep Club event at Rausch Creek Off-Road Park sold out super quick, but we’re giving you a shot to win your way in; visit of the ticket raids listed here to get tires dirty with the gang.

The dog walk and fall festival includes: a pet costume contest, talent contest, “Ask the Vet & Trainer” booths, agility course, photo booth, paw print/painting station, adoptable dogs, live music, food trucks, and is hosted by our favorite pet lover, Steve Morrison.
Bud Light Thursday Night Huddle

Shyamaween

The best Halloween party in Philadelphia hosted by director, M. Night Shyamalan and his wife, Bhavna. This charitable event benefits their foundation working to poverty and inequality in communities around the world. And it’s a damn good time! Besides the amazing food, open bar and non-stop dancing, Split star James McAvoy was there taking a break from filming. Word is there are few other big names in town filming this year…
