BURBANK, CA - MAY 22: Chester Bennington of Linkin Park performs on stage at the iHeartRadio Album Release Party presented by State Farm at the iHeartRadio Theater Los Angeles on May 22, 2017 in Burbank, California.

If you’re a Linkin Park fan looking for a poignant story that will, for lack of a better term, “hit you right in the feels,” this story via Orlando’s WKMG-TV is a must-read.

Cristina Settanni was driving on Florida State Road 408.  She rarely uses that road but did so on the morning of February 20 because she was running late for work. She drove passed a man sitting alone on a ledge of an overpass but then pulled over and approached him. He was thinking about jumping from the overpass.

Settanni said to WKMG in the video below, “I stopped because I’ve been where he is. He needed someone to show they cared.”

Besides sitting with the man, she showed him she cared by sharing the lyrics to Linkin Park’s “One More Light,” the title track from the band’s seventh studio album released two months before frontman Chester Bennington died by suicide.

“‘Who cares if one more light goes out in a sky of a billion stars? I do.’ One person cares. And I don’t know if it clicked with him, but he just cried,” said Settanni. She continued, “Every day I think about him, and I haven’t been able to take the 408 since. I can’t take the 408.”
