Motörhead released a cover of Metallica's "Enter Sandman" in 1988. About 25 years later, the band released a new video of the cover.

Embedded below is the new animated video for Motörhead's take on the Metallica classic. Per a press release, the video was produced by Mulberry Creative. The video's premise finds a young child dealing with terrifying nightmare creatures, and he's eventually saved by Motörhead's "Warpig."

The "Enter Sandman" was first released as part of a compilation album for the wrestling promotion ECW. The compilation appropriately featured noted roster member The Sandman on the cover. Motörhead's cover is now available on all major streaming services here.

Lemmy Kilmister would've turned 78 on December 24. Besides his signature growl, his words of wisdom rank high up on the list of reasons many fans miss the Motorhead frontman.

In honor of his birthday, take a look at these five Lemmy quotes to live by.

"If you think you are too old to rock 'n' roll then you are."
