Here’s How STP Revealed The Cover/Title Of A New Release (And Why There’s A Small Problem)
If you’re a studious nerd like me, you love a good puzzle. (If you’re not, try it sometime, because it’s good fun.)
So, when Stone Temple Pilots decided to reveal the cover and title of a new release through a tease of puzzle pieces, it’s understandable that I got a little excited.
I printed all nine pieces from their Twitter page to discover the title to be Meadow with the cover depicting a beautiful sun shining upon a yellow brick road through a canyon.
There’s one problem: The middle three pieces weren’t formatted correctly and are too small for the other six pieces, but they clearly belong together.
Is this nitpicking? Yes, but please refer back to the “studious nerd” comment, and it all makes sense.
At the end of the day, we have a cover and a title from STP, which is fantastic! Now, if only we could get a release date…oh, and the identity of a new singer would be nice, too.
