Brie Larson is Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel and in this second trailer, we also see that Samuel L. Jackson / Nick Fury has a soft side for… a kitty? Sure, why not?
Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait until March of 2019 for this latest installment in the MCU to hit theaters, but of course, it’ll be worth the wait.
In the trailer, Carol Danvers touches upon the war between the Skrulls and the Kree. She, herself, is a Kree, a race of “noble warrior heroes.” With no memory of her past, several individuals – leader of Starforce (played by Jude Law), Skrulls leader Talos (played by Ben Mendelsohn), and a mysterious character played by Annette Bening – tell Carol who they think she is.
