9 Classic Album Covers Altered to Reflect Social Distancing
Let’s be honest: It was only a matter of time before someone decided to have some social distancing fun with some of the greatest album covers of all time.
Activista, a Los Angeles-based ad agency, created the website 6 Feet Covers in which classic album covers, like Abbey Road and The Joshua Tree, took iconic band images and spaced the members apart to show the appropriate six-foot distance that is recommended to curb the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19.)
Embedded below are the edited covers via Activista’s Instagram. Do you prefer the originals or the new social distancing versions? We’ll let you decide.
Erica Banas is a news blogger who's been covering the rock/classic rock world since 2014. The coolest event she's ever covered in person was the 2021 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony. (Sir Paul McCartney inducting Foo Fighters? C'mon now!) She's also well-versed in etiquette and extraordinarily nice. #TransRightsAreHumanRights
