Help Stop Animal Cruelty! Sign the Petition to Pass Victoria’s Law
A MESSAGE FROM STEVE MORRISON: I swear to God my wife Clare and I live in fear of wearing out our welcome with you when it comes to animal charities and causes! Your generosity and kindness has always been unrelenting, but we are very cognizant of never taking advantage of that.
Well, in this case, all that we are going to ask of you is your signature on a petition for Victoria’s Law: Change.com
Steve & Clare Morrison speak to Grace Kelly Herbert about Victoria’s Law
Victoria’s Law seeks to stop the “puppy mill to pet store pipeline” that results in so much sadness and suffering. Whether it be the animals forced to endure horrific conditions on the supply side or the often sick and dying pets on the consumer side, Victoria’s Law was created to comprehensively correct this inhumane situation once and for all.
To quote Humane PA, “ Victoria’s Law will drive the pet market in PA towards more humane sources by prohibiting the sale of commercially-raised dogs, cats and rabbits in pet stores, and increase transparency by requiring sellers to include identifying information.”
About Victoria’s Law’s namesake: Victoria was an 11 year old German Shepherd, was rescued By Finding Shelter in 2017 from a Lancaster County, PA puppy mill. She was born at the farm andV lived there for 10 years as a breeding dog. Right after her rescue, she received the terminal diagnosis of Degenerative Myelopathy and was placed on hospice care for the remainder of her life which was expected to be six months to a year. Victoria exceeded all expectations and lived for 16 months as a part of a family in a loving home.
