Vixen77 the all-female punk-rock quintet from right here in Philadelphia took the 2023 MMR*B*Q stage by storm this year kicking off the festivities with a blistering set, leaving the fanatical WMMR listeners and concert goers clamoring for more! The ladies really were the perfect choice to kick off such a great day of music with 15,000 of our closest friends.
Samantha Joan, Caitlin, Jaz, Liz & Sarah were also MMR’s Local Shots Artist of the Month for September this year, and we had the ladies in studio to world premier their brand-new tune “Fast Lane”, a blazing homage to doing just that, living life in the fast lane!
We now have the official music video for the song “Fast Lane”! I love that bands still continue to shoot and produce videos for their songs, because it really adds a cool, extra dimension to the music, and it looks like the ladies had a ton of fun while shooting it as well.
The video was directed by Corinne McAndrews (@americanauteur) and features a really cool Chevy Nomad that was rebuilt from scratch by Vixen77 drummer Sarah Novack and her dad. It’s a beautifully done restoration and super sexy vehicle!
