It's called AWFUL, but it's actually awesome (apologies to Pierre Robert and Jacky Bam Bam for using their least favorite word- iykyk). Art Wrestling Federation Urban League is hosting an event this Friday at PhilaMOCA. It's one of many pro wrestling events happening in Philadelphia this week, with WWE's WrestleMania attracting fans from all over the globe to our city.
What is AWFUL?
This collective describes themselves as a "Philadelphia based Art Wrestling Federation, Urban League (AWFUL)... Artists wrestling very poorly." What began between friends in the Philly arts scene has developed into a "pro" wrestling attraction with a cult following. It's funny, and a little bit gimmicky, and it's absolutely riveting. The wrestlers involved get wildly creative with their characters and storylines, and being an indie federation, they can get away with A LOT in the ring.
Recently the group was invited to be part of the Get Shipfaced Cruise with the Impractical Jokers and Eric Andre, performing alongside Jackass star Steve-O, the Philly based band Snacktime, and many others. Follow AWFUL on Instagram to get a feel for the shenanigans that ensue at their events.
Where can I see AWFUL Wrestling?
The next time you can experiences their theatrics is at PhilaMOCA on the eve of WrestleMania, Friday April 5th, for MocaMania 4! PhilaMOCA is located at 531 N 12th Street. Doors open at 7:30pm. Presale tickets are already sold out, but a limited number of tickets will be available at the door, so arrive early to grab a spot. Get more details here.

Here’s Where to Eat at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia
WWE and wrestling fans from all over the globe are preparing to descend upon South Philadelphia for WrestleMania XL on April 6th and 7th. It's the biggest event in the pro wrestling universe, and you're going to need to fuel up while you're at Lincoln Financial Field, especially if you're going to be there on both nights.
If you're arriving from outside of this area, welcome to the City of Brotherly Love and Sisterly Affection! At the Linc, home of the Philadelphia Eagles, there are a bunch of different places to eat that represent our city's rich history and big appetite.
If you're local, it can still be overwhelming to figure out where to spend your precious time in line for a bite. With a capacity of approximately 65,600 seats, the stadium is huge. We know that you don't want to miss a minute of Mania, so it's important to plan ahead. (And after a beverage or two, you'll be grateful you got a lay of the land ahead of time.)
Plus, our gluten-free friends and veg-heads need something to snack on! But where do you find it?

We've narrowed down your options below based on cuisine type. Don't forget to explore outside of the stadium, too - Philadelphia is one of the hottest foodie cities in the United States, and there are so many places to eat. But once you're through the gates of the Linc for the "Showcase of Immortals," here's where you can satisfy your cravings while you watch each match go down.
Need to cross-check your seat and section with the location of a food vendor? Find the Lincoln Financial Field seating map on the stadium website. Don't forget to bookmark this page for the next Birds season.

Here's Where to Eat at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia
Chickie's & Pete's Buffalo Chicken Cutlets and Crab Fries
Lucky for all of us who love the salty goodness of crab fries, Chickie's and Pete's are found at various locations throughout the stadium (and just down the street at 1526 Packer Avenue). Crab fries are crinkle-cut, fresh-fried fries coated in Old Bay seasoning. They are a must-have.
Philly Pretzel Factory
The perfect handheld snack made complete with spicy mustard. It's the easiest handheld snack for an event. Don't miss out on a Philly pretzel. Located at Section 106.
Tony Luke's Roast Pork Italian Sandwich and Cheesesteaks
Tony Luke's is a South Philly staple, with stick-to-your ribs sandwiches that'll keep you satiated. When you're in Philly, at a Philly stadium, you need to eat a cheesesteak. Located at section 112.
Bassett's BBQ
Bassett's has a full BBQ menu, including their “Smokin' bacon BBQ cheesesteak”. If BBQ is your thing, give this place a try. It's a more unique take on traditional Philly stadium food! Located in the Pepsi Plaza.

It's perfectly okay to not eat meat! Vegetarian options are available at Section 120 in the stadium. We won't knock it. They're pretty good, too!

You've got multiple options if you're avoiding gluten. Gluten-free items are available at Section 120 and 216, including hot dogs and rolls, sausage and rolls, Red Bridge beer, cookies, and brownies.
All sandwiches at the Markets and Action Stations in the club level are available on a Gluten-Free Roll. Grab and Go Harvest Cobb Salads and Gluten-Free Cookies are available at the East and West markets in the club level only.
