Support Phillies Batboy, Adam Crognale, LLS Visionaries of the Year Fundraiser
Let’s help Adam raise as much money as possible for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Visionaries of the Year Fundraiser has launched it’s 2024 campaign. Phillies batboy, Adam Crognale is in the running. Pun intended, because Adam is known well around the MLB for his running skills.
Adam is in his 4th season as batboy for the Phillies. Videos of his speedy approach to the plate have gone viral on many occasions. It’s kind of his thing. It is partially attributed to the pitch clock, and mostly because Adam gives 110% to everything that he does.
It’s been an odd start to Adam’s career. He was hired to for the 2020 season… but we all know what happened that year. His history with the team did not start there. In 2019, Adam was working for Phillies Charities. He was the first employee to walk down the aisles to sell raffle tickets to fans who don’t want to leave their seats. Genius! It was that ingenuity that helped him stand out. 110%!
That leads into his running for LLS Visionary of the Year. Adam is also a cancer survivor. In 2014, he was diagnosed with Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma, a cancer that is treatable with week-long chemotherapy treatments.
