Preston & Steve®

We put out a call for MMRBQ Side Stage Karaoke Contestants, and geez, were we blown away by the feedback. If you have not checked out all of the contestants, then you are missing out. All 55 of them ROCK! Visit the entry page to see the full showcase of the most talented people of the Delaware Valley.

The Preston & Steve Show had the impossible challenge of narrowing down the field to ten. If it was up to us, we would have had everyone perform, but time constraints don’t allow that! We appreciate each and every person who entered and everyone who cast a vote!

Each one of the ten winners will sing on The Preston & Steve Side Stage with SideArm, our official live-karaoke band. They will also receive a 4-pack of MMRBQ tickets. And they can add “opened for Don McCloskey and his band” to their resume.

We hope that everyone attending the MMRBQ will stop by the The Preston & Steve Side Stage from 1:15pm and 4:00pm, between main stage sets. The official times will be announced later this week.

If you don’t have tickets yet, you can grab them now at Ticketmaster.com. Dirty HoneyFinger ElevenTigercub and MMR’s Local Shots Artist Vixen77 will be rocking the main stage that day. With Larkin PoeAyron Jones, and headliners Shinedown and Billy Idol rounding out the night.

  • Derek Petaccio | Pottstown, PA

Trying out for the 93.3 WMMR Philadelphia SIDE STAGE PERFORMANCE with SideArm again this year at the MMR*B*Q 2023!!! ...

Posted by Derek Petaccio on Wednesday, August 23, 2023

For 12 years I had the honor of calling music my work.   It was my life. Performing anywhere from New York to Florida,  All of ALL of our favorite shore points like wildwood,  sea isle,  LBI,  Dewey beach DE,  and even at every single eagles home game at Xfinity live for 5 years straight.

The year 2020 ended all that.    The entertainment company that backed us failed us and my band members had to disperse.   Everyone after that year had to do what they had to do.

    My life completely changed.

Ever since then I just yearn and itch for that “one more time” on stage.  “One more time” to grab a mic and make people forget their problems in a song I sing.   Hoping to regain my music life with a move to Vegas in a year but for right now…. I’d love that…. “One more…Time” to be with all of you at the MMRBQ!  Thank you.  Let’s Rock!

  • David Murray | Downingtown, PA

Dave Murray aka Batman. I own and drive my own Batmobile… Warehouse manager by day, fight crime by night!

  • Victoria Maffei | Sicklerville, NJ

My singing career started by lying to the church so I could sing in the choir 😈 From then on I decided music and sounds are two very important things in my life, along with being of service to others. I’m a heathen, but I care! ☺️ Vote for me!!

  • Sammy Vile | Springfield, PA (DELCO)

“Vilebred” frontman Sammy Vile was spawned from depths of Delco from a big ol’ family and is the younger brother to both Kurt Vile and the infamous “Jelloman” Paul Vile. You may have even seen some of his unsolicited Preston & Steve themed reels. Check him out!

  • Chris Fancher | Philadelphia, PA

Hey all! I’m Chris and I’m just a simple dude that enjoys some of the finer things in life. Drinking my Surfside’s with a pinky out, catching some live shows and springing for extra cheese on pretty much anything. Basically, I came out the womb singing and enjoy the smiles it can occasionally inspire. These are just a few of the reasons I think I should be voted your next prom king…wait…what was this for again? 😉
