The Other Super Bowl Halftime Show Performers We’d Like To See Again
Regardless of how you feel about football, Justin Timberlake is giving us all a reason to watch the Super Bowl this year.
The last time he was on the stage was in 2004 alongside Janet Jackson. In case you forgot, this was when the infamous “wardrobe malfunction” occurred. Since the news of J.T.’s repeat halftime show performance broke, we’ve been thinking about some of the other artists we’d like to see grace the stage again.
Bruno Mars
He was the 2014 halftime show entertainment, bringing a high-energy performance filled with his most popular hits. He was joined by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, but it was Bruno and his band that really stole the show, and we’d love to see them take the stage again. He had a repeat when he performed with Beyonce and Coldplay as well year before last.

U2
They gave an incredibly powerful performance right after the September 11th terrorist attacks, featuring a screen that displayed the names of all of those killed. We’d love to see them come back for an equally moving show.

Aerosmith
The rockers dominated their halftime show performance. They ended up collaborating with an eclectic range of artists like Britney Spears, *NSYNC, Nelly, and Mary J. Blige. We’d love to see who they brought onstage to join them if they had another shot.
Prince
The legendary artist put on one of the most iconic halftime shows of all time, running through his arsenal of hits like “Proud Mary” and “Let’s Go Crazy.” He brought the crowd to its feet with “Purple Rain” (performed during a perfectly dramatic downpour) and left many wondering why there was a football game going on during a Prince concert. If only we could have him back to do an encore performance.

After Lady Gaga’s incredible show at last year’s Super Bowl, the bar is pretty high, but we have a feeling Justin Timberlake will meet our expectations just fine.
