“I always root for the underdogs,” Ellen lead her interview with Nick Foles by revealing she, like most of the country, was cheering for not-the-Patriots.
Degeneres, a Saints fan at heart, admits she didn’t pay attention to football until her hometown team played in Super Bowl XLIV, but now she is obsessed. That explains why her first question was about The Philly Special (was met by an explosion of applause):
