Burglars Steal $100,000 Of Ramen Noodles
I mean, if I was going to steal something, I don’t think it would be something I could get for 20 cents at the grocery store.
Fayette County Deputies are on the trail of what FOX 5 calls a “string of thefts,” but out of all the thefts listed, like car break-in’s and a stolen motorcycle, this takes the cake: $100,000 worth of Ramen Noodles.
They were apparently parked in a large trailer at a Chevron Store, and the 53-foot trailer was stolen, despite being secured, between July 25-August 1.
Now, I am not sure what you can do with $100,000 worth of Ramen. It’s not like it’s a product you can mark up and sell to the highest bidder. And even though it doesn’t go bad, it’s not something that you can just sell to people at random.
Imagine someone standing on a corner in a trenchcoat, opening it to reveal the carbilicous snack, and saying “Yo, you wanna buy some Ramen Noodles?”
Though it might be a bad plan at this point, maybe the burglars can anonymously start dropping off packages of Ramen at colleges. We all know what it’s like to live on the cheap when you’re on the education grind.
