Corey Taylor Slipknot Mask: New Photos of How it was Made
Slipknot fans eagerly await the reveal of the band’s new masks with a new album on the way. However, Corey Taylor did lift the curtain as to how his was made.
Taylor shared a small gallery of five photos via his Instagram. The gallery featured the caption, “Since I can’t show you the mask yet…here’s what we go through to have them made. So killer working with Tom Savini, Jason Baker and Necro Disco. Good people!”
All three artists are known for there special effect makeup work. Of the three, Savini is best known for his prosthetic makeup work in a number of iconic horror films including Friday the 13th and Dawn of the Dead.
A timetable on Slipknot’s sixth studio album is not yet known. The band, however, surprised fans this past Halloween with the new track and video “All Out Life.” Hopefully, this is a sign new music isn’t too far off.
