List of Camp Out For Hunger’s Most Needed Donation Items
Last year’s Camp Out for Hunger donations totaled 1.826 Million Pounds – that’s over 913 TONS of food – plus $198,188 for those in need. That single collection accounted for more than half of Philabundance’s food drive donation for the year.
And we could not do it without your help!
So while you are out shopping, please consider picking up a few extra items to bring to the Camp Out (Dec 2nd – Dec 6th) in the parking lot of XFINITY Live! inside of the Wells Fargo Center Complex. Philabundance has provided us with a list of the healthy food items they are seeking for the community:

Only boxes, cans, plastic containers or non-breakable jars and which do not have to be refrigerated can be collected.

If you are not able to make it out this year, you can donate right at the registrar of your local Acme Market. The Acme Head Start Program runs through November 27th.
To host a collection in your community or workplace, print out signs from our Camp Out For Hunger Head Start page, then set a date to bring the donations to the event (HOURS: Monday – Thursday, 6a – 9p, Friday, 6a – 11a). Use the brand new Camp Out Facebook Group to tell more people about your collection!
The Camp Out For Hunger main page will have information about parking, scheduling and the ongoing list of evening events closer to the event. Check back soon!
