The weather this weekend is going to be absolutely perfect! Here are a few suggestions from Kathy Romano that will inspire you to get out and enjoy it.
Peony Festival in Chadds Ford
The Peony Festival at Stylers in Chadds Ford is happening now through Memorial Day. They have 25 acres of more than 55,000 peonies in bloom. You can tour the fields on foot, but only in the morning from 8am-10:45am. The cost is $20 per person. They’re also offering a drive-through option from 11am-6pm that allows you to view the fields from your car for $25 per vehicle. styerspeonies.com
Find a New Beer Garden
Old City Beer Garden is one of the biggest outdoor bars in Philadelphia with outdoor picnic tables and covered seating. They serve over 20 craft beers and seltzers. Reservations are required. The beer garden is a fun location that lights up Market Street. Trust me, when you pass by it you’ll want to stop in for a beer! oldcitybeergarden.com
Kayaking in Bucks County
Driftwood Water Adventures offers kayak, canoe, and paddleboard rentals in Tyler State Park and Falls Park. They also do group rentals and stand-up paddleboard yoga! I did a kayak trip last weekend with a group of friends and our kids. Driftwood Adventures was absolutely amazing and made our trip so much fun! Located in beautiful bucks county, the trek through the Neshaminy Creek was very peaceful and scenic. They’re dog friendly and supply dog lifejackets. Ask for Bobby and mention my name! driftwoodwateradventures.com
