Casey’s Big Game Adventure: Spreading Brotherly Love in KC
On Monday, CaseyBoy, Anthony Gargano, Jacky Bam Bam and Kyle Maack hit the road bound for Arizona. Yesterday they were spreading Brotherly Love in KC on Casey’s Big Game Adventure: Jawn The Road Again.
Back in September, Casey, Jacky, and Kyle hit the road on Casey’s Big Adventure, bound for California. With the Eagles in the Super Bowl all the way in Arizona, it only made sense for them to get the band back together. Amazingly, the gang got Philly’s favorite “everyman,” the one, the only, Anthony Gargano to join them. His knowledge of sports and his friendly disposition made him the perfect addition to the already iconic group.
The plan is as follows:
- Bring your “Philly Things” for luck.
- Hit other “Philadelphia’s” on the way (in Missouri, Illinois, and New Mexico).
- Stop by an Eagle alma mater.
- Plant Philly green gold-dipped roses from Steven Singer in each iconic spot.
- Spread the love in Kansas City
- Arrive in Arizona and rock Radio Row!
Spreading the Brotherly Love
Philadelphia has been affectionately coined “The City of Brotherly Love.” In fact, that’s the one thing out-of-towners love to hold over our heads when we’re…not so nice. And hey, when it comes to football, our passion tends to get misconstrued. The point of stopping in Kansas City? To prove that we are full of love. We want no bad juju going into this game. Philadelphians don’t go into other cities and disrespect their icons (cough cough…Rocky statue…cough cough). Instead, we spread our trademark Brotherly Love.
Casey, Jacky, Kyle, and Anthony dropped by the Chiefs pro-shop at GEHA field with a surprise. And no, not a nasty surprise. The gang rolled up with a giant box of Herr’s chips, a known Philly icon, of course. Stepping into the belly of the beast, the love that was given was not only received, but given back! Chiefs fans were nothing but friendly and accepted our potato-y-peace-offering. One pro-shop employee even went out of her way to show that we were represented there, too!
