“Rebel Rebel” by DAVID BOWIE

David Bowie was fully aware of how “Rolling Stonesey” the main riff of “Rebel Rebel” sounded. In fact, it was intentional. It was the first part of the song that existed. In one session, the riff was perfected and paired with lyrics, making it the song we know and love today.

“Rock The Casbah” by CLASH

“Rock The Casbah” was Released in 1982 for The Clash’s fifth album Combat Rock. The song made its radio rounds and got in the video rotation on MTV. It quickly became the biggest U.S. hit for the British punk band The Clash.
