[PHOTOS] Camp Out For Hunger 2022: Day #3
On Day #3 of 2022 Camp Out For Hunger, we welcomed friends from FOP, Planet Fitness, Five Below, and Live! Casino to the stage with a donation. Victory Beer sponsored our City 6 Pop-a-Shot Challenge which was hosted this year by Sixers radio announcer, Tom Mcginnis. Five coaches were on hand to comepete, Zach Spiker (Drexel), Marc Macon (Temple), Fran Dunphy (LaSalle), Kyle Neptune (Villanova) and reigning champ, John Griffin (St. Joe’s). Steve Donahue (UPenn) was stuck in traffic – ahhh, well! The band, Starcrawler, rocked the stage. Dr. Watlington, Superintendent of Philadelphia Schools reiterated the importance of Camp Out for a (way too big) percentage of his students. On top of sponsoring our gigantic tent, Bimbo Bakeries added a big donation to the tally and snacks for everyone who comes down to donate. We put a bunch of listeners on a the Skelly’s Amusement ride, Pirate Ship, with beer helmets. And finally, we were joined by Hassan Reddick, a Philly guy on your 8-0 Philadelphia Eagles.
