Metallica Getting the Funko Treatment
If you’re a metalhead and a collector of Funko’s Pop! Figure line, we have some great news: Metallica will soon be honored with their own set!
The news was just unveiled, and frankly, the band has never (if ever) been this adorable. We're joining the @OriginalFunko family! Look for these in August! Upon seeing the preview of the figures, there are a few observations:
1. Seems like the folks at Funko were especially generous with the hair on some of the figures. We won’t name names, but let’s just say it rhymes with “Shmars” and “Shmames.”
2. We desperately hope a Cliff Burton Funko is potentially in the works equipped with flare jeans. It just seems right.
The Metallica figures are set for release in August, but fans can pre-order the Funkos as a set or just James, Lars, Kirk and Robert individually.
