Korn Backs Out of Alternative Press Music Awards
Korn has bowed out of its planned performance at the Alternative Press Music Awards taking place tonight (Monday, July 17) in Cleveland.
The group issued a statement on Sunday (July 16) that, “Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to perform at Monday night’s show. We apologize to anyone we may disappoint by this decision, but know that we put a lot of thought into making it. We don’t take these things lightly, and hope to see you soon.”
Black Veil Brides’ Andy Biersack is hosting the ceremony, which will be streaming live on several platforms starting at 7 p.m. EST.
Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale, Nothing More, Against Me!, the Pretty Reckless, Pierce The Veil, One OK Rock, Punk Goes Pop Live! and more are still slated to perform.
Korn, meanwhile, is continuing its summer tour with Stone Sour.
