LINKIN PARK Issue Statement on Chester Bennington’s Passing: WMMR.com
Several days after the shocking death of Chester Bennington, Linkin Park posted a joint statement that says in part: “Dear Chester… The shockwaves of grief and denial are still sweeping thruogh… Your absence leaves a void that can never be filled. We’re trying to remind ourselves that the demons who took you away from us were always part of the deal. After all, it was the way you sang about those demons that made everyone fall in love with you in the first place.”
The band also set up a page for fans to leave tributes, which you can find at Chester.LinkinPark.com. All future Linkin Park tour dates have been cancelled, including the ones in Hershey and Camden next week, and refunds are available at point of purchase.
