Keith Richards has apologized publicly to Mick Jagger for joking in an interview that his Rolling Stones bandmate should get a vasectomy. 73-year-old Jagger and his girlfriend Melanie welcomed a child this past December, and in the interview, Richards said: “Mick’s a randy old bastard. It’s time for the snip—you can’t be a father at that age. Those poor kids!”
Now, Richards has tweeted: “I deeply regret the comments I made about Mick, which were completely out of line. I have of course apologized to him in person.”
