BLINK 182 Drummer Offers Update On Blood Clot Recovery: Loudwire
Travis Barker of Blink 182 offered an update on his blood clot recovery. The band had to postpone their Vegas residency last month because of the drummer’s health issues. In a new video, he says: “It’s been the longest four weeks without playing drums. I played through two shows in Vegas… before I was able to get a clear diagnosis.”
Turns out, he had the “trifecta” of infection, inflammation in his arms, AND superficial bloodclots. For now, Barker has been given a “week-by-week” approach, but his doctor feels he’ll be back on stage soon. The next Blink shows are scheduled for October.

John Lydon, also known as Johnny Rotten of the Sex Pistols, fulfilled a late fan’s request by scattering their ashes on stage during a recent performance. At a Public Image Ltd. show in the UK, just before tossing the ashes into the air, Lydon said: “I think that’s one of the nicest, most humbling things… This is for Stuart, whose request is his ashes be spread on the PiL stage. Stuart, we love you!” There’s been no word on the circumstances of Stuart’s passing.
