It’s a Major National Award From LLS for WMMR!
Each year, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) recognizes the outstanding efforts of the print media, digital media, radio broadcasters and television broadcasters through its National Media Awards.
The National Media Awards recipients have a record of excellence in promotional support/fundraising, as well as educating and informing the public of the LLS organization and its mission.

LLS acknowledges the outstanding efforts of the media across the country that support LLS by supporting the cause and/or promoting programs, activities and events.
This year, LLS Eastern PA has nominated Nick Mcilwain, WMMR 93.3 and The Preston & Steve Show for their exceptional work in going above and beyond in promoting and supporting LLS and Big Climb Philly.
